Can a bank teller reverse a transaction done on the weekend on monday?

I wanted to know if the electronic journal can go back to the saturday on monday to reverse a tranaction. I think it is possible given tellers do not actually send any work down on saturday rather on monday? On the weekend their is no teller sign off so I wonder if I could go back to saturday this monday to correct a transaction? these days are linked right?
