How to introduce a new kitten to a cat?

Hi, I have two older male cats frosty and snowball and I would like to figure out a way to introduce a new female kitten to them without getting them jealous. Frosty became distant from me and stopped purring the last time I introduced a male kitten Sergeant, who was stolen from us around a month ago :( and he is recently beginning to purr again now that he's gone. Is it possible for him to become distant again if I introduce a female kitten to him? How can I prevent this from happening? Sergeant always play fought with frosty and frosty never liked it so maybe that was a reason he became distant? Any advice would be great. Thanks!
