How do I get a pretty frosty blonde look?

My hair is naturally a dirty blonde-very light brownish color. I have been dying it light auburn for the past year or so. I really want to get a pretty frosty golden blondish type color but I don't know how to achieve this without completely stripping the color from my hair. I don't want to use bleach or peroxide!
