Anyone who interprets the bible literally must explain this.?

As someone who interprets the Bible literally, I believe that we are commanded to follow the New Covenant and the teachings of Jesus, which is the covenant of freedom and forgiveness of sins. We are specifically instructed NOT to follow the Old Covenant, which is the covenant of sin and death. That's literally what it says.
