What does 2 Peter 2:5 say?

The whole chapter is on Judgement, He Judged the Sons of God (angels) who mingled with the daughters of men, and might I add not all of them mingled, he Judged Sodom and Gomorrha, He Judged the old world when they would not turn from their wickedness and listen to Noah (II Peter 2:5), he also goes on to say that we will be washed of our sin but many times we will turn to sin again. This is an overview of II Peter. The verse reads from the literal direct translation (KJV): And Spared Not the old world, but saved Noah, the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of ungodly. // Notice the passage calls Noah the eighth person, sure there where 8 people but he is named the eighth, which puts him in numerical order. And rightfully so, what righteous man would not want to make sure his family was safe and sound on the ark first. And with his heart wait outside for any that may want to be saved, running to him at the last minute, accepting salvation from the Judgement. And as in the days of Noah were so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. Judgement will come again... soon.
